Did you know that in most of the large cities in Canada, the city halls regulate the volume of space that cabs must have to be cabs in their cities? Did you know that if the Federal Government came along and offered free Toyota Prius, the hybrid cars, that the cabbies could save $1,000 per month is gas, but could not use them for taxis? Is that the case in Calgary?

Did you know that Calgary needs to have its own FM transmitter station for situations such as the one over the weekend? Much like the one used in Banff. It could be used to transmit traffic situations, evacuations and such. Sort of an addition to the 911, 211, 311, and such. There were so many people unaware of the problems occurring.
